Organic Honey Harvested from Jane's Garden

We don’t have any products to show here right now.

After having a native bee hive appear in her garden back in 2019, Jane decided to complete a certified beekeeping course and embark on the practice of backyard beekeeping. After a very productive initial harvest it was clear that the combination of garden flowers and native bush blooms are perfect for these busy bees. Several years on Jane's garden and the surrounding natural bush environment continue to provide the bee's forage, for incredible quality, all natural honey.  To purchase Jane's honey please email her directly at -jane@foxfeathersclover.com.au

Honey bottled and ready for purchase - thank you beautiful bees! 🐝

Before Cyclone Alfred was forecast to impact the Gold Coast in early March 2025,
Jane prepared her beehive by strapping and weighting it down, in the event of high winds. Throughout the storm the hive and bees within stayed safe and sound. The bees emerged on mass when the weather cleared and returned to their foraging.

Hive Health Check ❤️

Images taken on day of a hive health check, show the different aspects of checking every frame, including the Brood Box on the bottom, where the Queen bee is located, together with various stages of brood and pollen stores. The Queen Bee is located, she is marked with a bright pink dot on the back or her body, she is gently removed and placed into a safety cage to prevent her being lost. Once thorough check is completed, all frames are replaced in the order they were in previously, the Queen is released back into the Brood Box, some honey filled frames from the super boxes or damaged frames are removed, and new foundation frames put in their place. This whole process can take up to an hour and no bees are hurt in any way during this activity.
